Statement of Faith

  1. We believe that God is One, Echad not Yachid. Not that He is one person, but that He is One G-dhead, family of three; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Abba, Ben and Ruach HaKodesh.
    Deut 6:4; Isaiah 48:12-17; Matt 28:16-20
  2. We believe that the Word of God, Tanakh/Old Covenant and the Brit Chadashah/New Covenant are inspired by God and without error.
II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20; Romans 15:4
  3. We believe in the teaching originally found in the Torah, that Messiah is divinely YHVH, L-rd. We believe in His virgin birth.
    Dan 7:9-14; Jer 23:5-6; John 1:13-14; Col 1:14-29; Zech 14:1-5; Isaiah 48:12-17; Isaiah 26:21; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18
  4. We believe that there is only one satisfactory way of atonement before HaShem and that the blood standard is still in effect. Only the blood of Messiah Yeshua will atone for mankind's sin. We believe that all have sinned and therefore all are in need of atonement.
    Lev 16 & 17: Exodus 12 & 13; Heb 9:22; Acts 4:12; 10:28; Romans 3:24-25; Col 1:20; John 14:6; Psa 14:1-3; Rom 3:23
  5. We believe that salvation comes by exercising a receptive belief--personalizing faith--in Yeshua and it is by the grace of G-d. We do not believe that salvation can be earned by doing enough mitzvot (good works). We believe that all must repent and believe to be born again.
    John 1:12; Isa 55:6-7; 64:6; Eph 2:8-9; Rom 11:5-6; Mark 1:14-15
  6. We believe that Yeshua/Jesus rose bodily and visibly as it had been foretold that Messiah would. We believe in the resurrection and judgement for mankind.
    Isa 53:10; 26:19; Psa 16:10; 41:9-10; John 20:24-29; Dan 12:1-3; Rev 20:10-15; I Cor 3:10-15
  7. We believe that Messiah will return to earth bodily and visibly.
    Isa 26:21; Zech 14:1-4; Rev 19:11-16
  8. We believe that the B'rit Chadashah (New Covenant) fulfills the redemptive aspects of the Abrahamic Covenant given to the three patriarchs. We believe that Jewish people who place their faith in Yeshua HaMashiach continue to be Jewish according to the Scriptures, and that the Land promised to Israel in that Covenant is forever to be owned by the nation of Israel.
    Gen 12:3; Gen 15:18; 17:19; 22:17-18; 26:3-5; 28:4 Gal 3:8-14; Acts 21:17-26; Rom 11:11-26; I Cor 9:12-20
  9. We believe that all of the gifts of the Spirit are in effect today--that none have ceased. We believe that the fruit of love is the evidence of salvation and of the mikvah (baptism) in the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).
    I Cor 12:28-13:3; 14:39-40; Lev 19:18; Matt 5:43-45; Gal 5:13-14; John 13:34-35; John 17:21
